THE SCC RUGBY ACADEMY’S THE FRY GROUP 7S AND TOUCH TOURNAMENT
Well done to all the teams who played magnificently last weekend at our Tournament! The SCC Rugby Academy had some great results with the following teams through to the Cup Finals which will be played this weekend at the SCC7s:
Saturday
- U5 – SCC Cheetahs
- U8 – SCC Lions
- U10 – SCC Lion
- U15 – SCC Lions
Sunday
- U13 – SCC Lions
- Touch U10 – SCC Lions
- Touch U12 – SCC Lions
A massive thank you to all the volunteers who helped us ensure that the tournament ran smoothly. Some of you were there for many hours in the hot sun and we appreciate all your help – we could not have done it without you.
KIT PICK UP AT THE TOURNAMENT
Unfortunately there will be no kit pick up on Saturday 4th November as we will be at the Padang for the finals. Kit will be available again from Saturday 11th November.
SPARTANS KIDS RACE
Singapore Spartan KIDS Race are excited to announce a unique opportunity to the SCC Rugby Academy that will allow kids to push themselves outside of their comfort zones, while building team spirit and grit in a family friendly environment!
Get your Spartan KIDS ready to run, jump, crawl, climb and roll their way on a brand new terrain across the Spartan Finish Line. On 18th November Spartan KIDS will be hosting it’s very first race on the beaches of Palawan on Sentosa Island. They have created 3 amazing courses for 4-13 year old runners: 500m, 1km and 2km. They will also be introducing the very first KIDS competitive heat for our 11-13 year old Spartans. Here, they will award the top 3 female and top 3 male racers with a Spartan Plaque and Spartan merchandise on the podium. This is an amazing opportunity for children to push through and challenge themselves on this tough beach course.

Spartan KIDS will be hosting a FREE training session by SGX certified coaches at the TRC field the week before – on 12th November at 5:30PM. SGX sessions will be open to ALL children and adults that wish to attend.
