SINGAPORE JUNIOR TOUCH CHAMPIONSHIPS 2017
Congratulations to our Touch Under 10 team who won the Cup at the 2nd Singapore Junior Touch Championships – a huge achievement, congratulations girls! The Under 12 and Under 14 teams also put in some great performances – well done to the girls and their coaches for all their hard work!
SCC RUGBY ACADEMY CURRY NIGHT
We are looking forward to seeing many of you at the Curry night THIS Saturday, being held at the Singapore Cricket Club (Connaught Drive, Singapore 179681) in the Padang Room. As you enter the main reception, please head up the main staircase and we will be there to meet you. Kick off is 7.30pm.
For non members of the Singapore Cricket Club there is no parking at the club. The easiest and cheapest place to park is Parliament House car park (1, Parliament Place, Singapore 178880) or underneath the National Gallery. However, a taxi is recommended!
If you have your ticket and haven’t paid yet, don’t forget to drop by the clubhouse at training on Saturday morning, where we will be accepting payment!
PLAYING TOPS
We will be handing out playing jerseys to the U8 and U9 who were away at a tournament last weekend, and also for those kids who were unable to pick up shirts at training last Saturday.
We will be handing them out to the children in the clubhouse at Dempsey. Once again, as it will be busy, please could we ask that you come to pick your tops up at the allocated times and DO NOT wait until after training has finished as the next age groups will be up at the clubhouse collecting their jerseys.

Our new online store is almost up and ready. We are hoping to able to release it in the next few days and will send a separate email out with a link to the store as soon as it is ready.
TRAINING FEES DUE FOR 2nd TERM 2017
Training fees for Term 2 are now due. To check how much you owe for your child, please go to their TeamSnap profile and select the Payments tab. The fees due for your child/children for this term will be noted there. Please note that on your TeamSnap “home page”, it will show that you have no fees due for “Registration” – you paid this when your child first joined the Academy. You need to select your child’s profile, and then the Payments tab, to find this term’s Training Fees.
LATE PAYMENT CHARGES
Please note that we have introduced a late payment charge. A 10% charge will be added to all unpaid fees after the 4th week of term – for this term, the late fee will come into effect on Friday 19th May 2017.

We now accept PayPal through the TeamSnap application. Just go to the Payments tab on your child’s profile, and you will find the fee amount due and a link for PayPal if you would like to use this service. Alternatively, you can also pay by bank transfer:

PARKING
Please can we remind parent to avoid parking at the car park at Dempsey, especially during the early morning sessions. In particular, please avoid parking on the hill coming into Dempsey, as this leaves space for only one car to pass and causes bottlenecks both coming in and out of Dempsey.
More parking can be found behind Ben and Jerrys at Dempsey Hill.
NEW ZEALAND RUGBY EXPERIENCE CAMP
10th to 14th JULY 2017
Early Bird Prices till 12th June
The New Zealand Rugby Experience coaches are coming back to Singapore for the fifth consecutive year to run their annual Camp at the Centaurs Sports Park, Turf City from Monday 10th July to Friday 14th July 2017. Five days of action and excitement spent outdoors in learning how to play fun, expansive and all-inclusive rugby. The coaches have all played senior club or provincial rugby within New Zealand and in some cases, international rugby.
The Early Bird prices are in place till 12th June. To ensure your child gets to spend a week outdoors with rugby coaches who bring a wealth of knowledge from their playing days as well as their current experience of coaching, please return the completed forms by post (see details on the registration form) OR scan and email to: dihutchinson@centaursgroup.com
