SCC Rugby Academy Girls Contact Rugby Nails Header
At the SCC Rugby Academy we have always been very lucky to have lots of girls playing as part of mixed teams – and this is something that we continue to encourage, particularly at the younger age groups (up to and including the U12s).

We are delighted that in addition to this (and due to popular demand) we are now offering contact rugby tailored specifically to girls.  Our aim is to increase the popularity of girls rugby and the number of girls playing contact, to provide them with as many opportunities as possible to play rugby games and tournaments in Singapore and overseas. There are a growing number of girls only rugby tournaments that provide more and more opportunity for game time.

Please come along for a free trial, invite your friends and become part of the girls contact rugby movement – a team sport that provides the opportunity to develop a lifelong love of rugby and friends for life!

COACHES

We have a great line-up of coaches to support your development as a rugby player – whether you are already an experienced player looking to hone your skills, currently a Touch player looking to convert to contact, or a beginner looking to take up the sport for the first time. We supplement rugby skills development and understanding of the game (rules) with tailored strength and conditioning training in a supportive and “safety first” environment.

Marah Ishraf – Girls Contact Lead Coach

Marah has captained the Singapore National Team and is currently representing Singapore Men’s at both 7s and 15s, as well as playing for SCC in the Singapore Premiership.
